In compliance with FDA Regulation 21CFR 589.2000, haulers of bulk feed ingredients including grain into this facility need to verify that the non-prohibited commodities being delivered or loaded from our facility have not been contaminated with prohibited animal proteins during transport. To provide the necessary verification, signing your bill of lading indicates that you are confirming the
following:
1. The last ingredient hauled contained no prohibited mammalian protein.
OR
2. If the last ingredient hauled was a prohibited animal product, the following physical procedures were performed including sweeping, vacuuming, use of compressed air, washing, or flushing with a sufficient volume of non-prohibited material to prevent the carry-over of prohibited animal protein into the present commodity. If a prohibited material on the below list was the previously hauled material, a wash out ticket must be presented. The following ingredients are identified as Prohibited Material by AAFCO:
If the below ingredients are the previous hauled material, the trailer is required to be at a minimum swept/broomed out prior to hauling any commodity intended for cattle consumption.
Kansas Ethanol, LLC certifies that our operations are in compliance with all applicable provisions of FDA Regulation 21 CFR 589.2000. We further certify that this form will cover all future shipments until we provide written notification that this form is no longer in effect.
